We love a good cocktail and a drink. Most of the time when we’re travelling the States, it’s for work meetings or shoots and it can be really tiring and taxing, so we like to unwind or celebrate wins with a sunset cocktail.. Isabella’s favourite is always and forever a Margarita at sunset.
For a tropical experience; a visit to The Ivy at The Shore is a fave! This beach front bar offers classic American, Italian and regional dishes as well as icy island-style drinks to be enjoyed at a 12-seat bamboo bar with a surfside view. This is the place to sit and enjoy a fresh pineapple daiquiri or two and watch the idyllic Santa Monica sunset.
ONYX, the amazing rooftop bar at The Shangri-La Hotel has been designed with a number of influences which range from the rat pack era Vegas cocktail bars, Studio 54, 70’s space age and mid-century modern. Everything about this bar has been designed to ensure that the spectacular Pacific Ocean (and our favourite sunset moments!) is the main focal point; with a galactic gold glittery ballroom floor reflecting the Ocean’s moonlight. Once the sun has gone down the chilled beachside bar vibe transitions to a night-club style atmosphere for a boogie under the twinkling stars.
The Bungalow at the Fairmont is Santa Monica’s hideaway in the Westside of Los Angeles. It is an amazing freestanding bungalow fronting the ocean-side cliffs of Santa Monica, the space evokes a breezy, beachside Baja lifestyle with expansive ocean vistas, lush gardens with twinkling tree lanterns (we love a fairy light!) and rustic interior designs completing the scene. This place has the city’s best margaritas, our all time favourite cocktail.
